I started writing music in the 80s and after having some fun recording and being in bands I gave it up for a couple decades.  Then I met Dean Tuftin, a Canadian country artist.  I was designing all of Dean's packaging and advertising for his first CD project, while he was getting material together for a second CD.  

I still had an old guitar laying around and thought - surely I could remember enough chords to write a country song. I wrote and played several songs for Dean, who selected one in particular to release as the first single from his second CD. The song is called Wide Open Highway and it became a number one Canadian Country hit song and was the third most played country song in 2006.
Wide Open Highway was nominated for the Independent Song of the Year, so I travelled to Calgary Canada to attend the CCMAs. The song still gets a lot of radio play which means a royalty check every quarter.

The rest of the songs below are some I wrote for Dean, some are just numbers I did for fun.  I am currently writing for a grammy winning artist... you never know.
Wide Open Highway was professionally recorded in Nashville featuring the vocals of Dean Tuftin. The rest of these songs I recorded over my garage.  Singing lead and back up vocals and playing or sequencing all the music, I got my brother to play on a few songs.  He laid down all the cool guitars on  Alone Again and Raining On The Inside and then played bass for me on Raining On The Inside and Invisible Girl.
